You Were Not Made to Stay Stuck.

Something brought you here. Maybe you feel like you’re going through the motions, showing up, checking boxes, doing all the right things, yet still feel something is missing. Maybe your relationship feels distant, disconnected, or stuck in the same cycles. Maybe life has shifted, and you’re figuring out who you are or who you are together on the other side of it.

Coaching is not therapy. It doesn’t diagnose or treat; it moves. It is a structured, forward-focused partnership designed to help you get unstuck, gain clarity, and build the kind of momentum that lasts whether you’re working on yourself, your relationship, or both.

At 180 Evolution Therapy, our coaching is rooted in your whole self — your values, your faith, your culture, and the vision you have for your life and your relationships. We don’t hand you a generic blueprint. We help you build yours.

We offer two distinct coaching services, each designed for a different kind of work:

Life Coaching - For Individuals

For individuals ready to move forward with clarity, direction, and purpose. Life coaching is goal-oriented support for people who are functioning well and ready to grow — navigating transitions, defining their next chapter, or building the habits and systems to get there.

Relationship Coaching - For Couples & Individuals

For couples and individuals navigating connection, communication, and the work of building healthy relationships. Relationship coaching addresses the patterns, dynamics, and goals that shape how you show up for yourself and the people you love.

Who Is Coaching For?

Coaching is for you if you are not in a mental health crisis, but you are ready for more. It is for people who are capable and driven, yet somehow stuck individually or together, and ready to move.

Life coaching may be right for you if:

  • You feel purposeless or unclear about your next step, even though you appear successful on the outside

  • You have survived something hard — a breakup, a career change, or a loss — and you are figuring out who you are now

  • You want to set meaningful goals and actually follow through on them

  • You are navigating a major life transition — parenthood, a new career, relocating, or reinventing yourself

  • You want accountability, structure, and a thinking partner who will help you do the work

  • You want support that honors your faith and your cultural identity — not a one-size-fits-all approach

Relationship coaching may be right for you if:

  • You and your partner keep having the same arguments without resolution

  • You feel disconnected, roommate-like, or like you’ve lost the thread of your relationship

  • You are preparing for a major relationship milestone — marriage, blending families, or navigating a major life change together

  • You want to build stronger communication skills before small issues become bigger ones

  • You are an individual who wants to understand your relationship patterns before entering or re-entering a partnership

  • Your relationship is intact, but you both know it could be stronger, and you’re ready to do the work

Coaching vs. Therapy — What’s the Difference?

This is one of the most important questions to get right before you begin. Coaching and therapy are different services with different goals, and at 180 Evolution Therapy, we are always clear about which is which.

Therapy (Counseling)

  • Licensed clinical service - provided by a credentialed mental health clinician

  • Addresses mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief

  • Often covered by insurance

  • Regulated by the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors

Coaching (Life or Relationship)

  • Non-clinical, goal-oriented service focused on growth and forward movement

  • Does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions

  • Not covered by insurance - private pay only

  • Designed for individuals and couples who are ready to grow, not in crisis

Not sure which is right for you? Our free 15-minute consultation will help you figure it out. We will always be honest about what type of support best fits your needs.

Our Approach to Coaching

Whole-Person Coaching

We do not just coach your career or your relationship. We coach you - the whole person. That means honoring your mind, spirit, body, culture, relationships, and growth as interconnected rather than separate.

Faith-Integrated Support

We follow your lead. If your faith is central to your growth, we will honor that and integrate it into your sessions. If you prefer a faith-neutral approach, that is equally welcome. There is no wrong answer here; only what feels right for you.

Culturally Affirming

Your background is not a footnote; it is context. We honor the cultural, generational, and community forces that shape your decisions, identity, and vision for your life and relationships.

Action-Oriented

Coaching is not about processing the past — it is about building the future. Sessions are structured around clarity, strategy, and action. You will leave each session with a clear next step.

The 180° Method & Coaching

  • Mind - Identifying the limiting beliefs, mental blocks, and thought patterns keeping you or your relationship stuck

  • Spirit - Aligning your goals and your relationship with your faith, your values, and your shared purpose

  • Body - Addressing the physical habits, sleep, rest, and movement that fuel or drain your momentum and connection

  • Culture - Honoring the cultural context that shapes how you define success, love, purpose, and progress

  • Growth - Building the skills, habits, and systems that support lasting personal and relational development

  • Community - Navigating the relational dynamics internal and external that support or hinder your ability to move forward
