LCMHC | Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor | Practice Owner

Yazmeen N. Irving is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, practice owner, and advocate for whole-person healing, one who believes deeply that recovery is not just possible, it is your birthright.

With over two decades of lived wisdom as a wife, mother, and member of a blended family of five, Yazmeen brings a rare combination of personal depth and clinical expertise to every session. She holds dual master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Career Counseling from North Carolina Central University, and is trained in a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and IFS/Schema-informed therapy. Much like a doula who walks alongside someone through one of life's most vulnerable transitions, Yazmeen's approach is deeply relational, embodied, and present — offering steady, compassionate support to clients at every stage of their healing journey.

Yazmeen's approach to counseling is holistic and unapologetically whole-person. She honors the sacred connection between spirit, soul, mind, and body, and meets each client where they are, not where the world says they should be. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, or relational wounds, Yazmeen creates a space where your full self is welcomed, seen, and supported.

Her faith is not separate from her clinical work; it is woven into it. For clients who desire faith-integrated care, Yazmeen combines evidence-based therapy with Biblical principles, honoring God as the ultimate source of healing and walking alongside clients with professional skill and warmth.

 Services Yazmeen offers include:

  • Individual Therapy - A compassionate space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, deepen self-awareness, and move toward meaningful growth.
